Sunny Vista’s 4th annual Art Exhibit and Open House! Sunny Vista Living Center will be hosting their 4th Annual Art Exhibit and Open House July 27th from 4pm-7pm.  The Open house promises to be a fantastic event.  We will be hanging approximately 80 pieces of art most from local artists.  The show will be juried this year by Michael Gault.  The wine selection has already been made and arrangements for the finest hors’douerves are underway.  The mayor’s office will be presenting an award and this promises to be an elegant evening of art.  The show is free to patrons and we would like to encourage you to come and view the art, taste the wine and enjoy the music.  The event raises money for the residents of Sunny Vista Living Center and goes into the activity fund.  This money helps us to provide trips and activities for all of our residents.  If you are unable to attend the event please feel free to come by to view the art as it will be hanging until August 23rd.  Also, we are always appreciative of donations to Sunny Vista Living Center.  If you would like to donate to the Art Show please contact Chris Jones at (719) 331 2773.  Thank you to our Da Vinci Sponsor, Elite Senior Care for their generous sponsorship.  Thanks also go out to Huntley Thatcher Ellsworth, Turner Construction, and Physicians Home Health. Sunny Vista’s 4th Annual Art Exhibit has a new Addition! At this years 4th annual art exhibit Sunny Vista Living Center will be showing a room of children’s art from the Rocky Mountain Montessori Academy.  This art will be for sale and we will open this exhibit at 3:00pm on July 27th .  The proceeds from this part of the show will go to the school to help with the costs of a peace garden that is currently underway.  The children artists will be on hand and the show will be judged by June Heimsloth, the President of the Colorado Springs Art Guild.  If you have questions regarding this show or how to donate to the peace garden project, please contact Chris Jones at (719) 331-2773.
